DIY Bedlam & Footie in London - Ray Prince
Our house has been upturned during the last 2 weeks. We've been having several rooms re-decorated so we've been relegated to the spare bedroom. The house looks like a bomb has hit it! At the same time, the decorator (his name is Peter Connon and I highly recommend him - he'll travel within 1 hour of the North Tyneside area, 07921 777092) has just finished his work so we can now see the light at the end of the tunnel.
The flooring and carpets arrive on Monday, and once the new furniture goes in it should be looking the business
As a de-stresser, I went to watch my team play in London last Saturday. Sunderland were playing Fulham and this was our annual 'boys away day out'. We left at 6am, drove to Chesterfield and then met a friend and jumped on a train to St Pancras.
A few beers and a great game - we came so close to scoring, hitting the woodwork a few times!
Last week I was back in London seeing an accountant contact who works with a lot of dentists, as well as running 2 dental practices with his wife. I will mention him again in the future as he offers some fantastic services to dentists (not just 'doing the books' type services).
Next week I'm back in London (again!) seeing clients and attending a workshop. Shame you can't get the equivalent of air miles for the train…
