UK Tour & Presentations Aplenty
The last few weeks have been very busy and I've been 'on the road' quite a bit.
In early October I met with other financial planners in Birmingham. The purpose of this was to meet with those of similar minds and to share ideas and best practice.
Here we are at the end of the day…
A few days later I presented to 20 ish dentists at an evening event in Derby. I was one of 4 speakers and we enjoyed a great dinner afterwards. The only downer was driving back to Newcastle at 11pm.
Obviously the huge benefit of driving so late is that the roads are very quiet, and I arrived back home at 2am.
(BTW, there is another of these events in Sheffield on November 17. It's ideal for NHS dentists (full or part) so if you want any details email me)
Then it was off to Durham to run a course that was organised by the Northern Deanery. 9 dentists were there and we covered a lot of key topics in detail during the 3 hours.
We also ran a competition and here we are with the happy winner.
We're also running the same course at Cumberland Infirmary in Carlisle on November 20th (Friday).
Here's the details, including how you can apply. I know it's nearly full but have been told there's one or two places remaining.
Lastly, I met with a firm of accountants in Penrith this week who were keen to find out more about how comprehensive financial planning could help their clients, as opposed to the product led approach that they're more familiar with. Hopefully it'll lead to a good working relationship in the future!
