Getting Financially Organised - Survey Results
Thanks to everyone who completed the 4 question survey last week.
I thought it would be useful to share the results so that you can see what your peers are thinking. You'll also probably see that you're not on your own!
Question 1:
What are the most important factors to you when speaking to a financial adviser/planner?
The top 3 responses (out of 10) were:
- Total Impartiality
- Trust
- Desire to deal with adviser not salesperson
Question 2:
Do you believe you are financially organised?
- Yes - 26%
- No - 20%
- Sometimes - 54%
Question 3:
Which area of your finances do you need to address the most?
The top 3 responses (out of 6) were:
- Retirement Planning / Pensions
- Investment Strategy
- Wills / Inheritance Tax
Question 4:
If you were to use the services of a financial adviser/planner how would you prefer to pay them?
- Fees - 57%
- Monthly retainer - 17%
- Commission - 17%
So there we have it.
Total impartiality and fees appear to be what you want, along with getting your retirement planning organised.
We are launching the Getting Financially Organised Programme on November 10th 2006 that will enable you to address all the above areas and help you develop your own financial plan, as well as keep you on track in the future.
You'll need to join the newsletter list for this, so if you want to be informed on the day it's launched please complete your details in the box on the right.
